Jeffrey Wosencroft enters his first season as Rhode Island Football's General Manager in 2024.
A familiar face around the program, Wosencroft has worked with the equipment room for the past three years assisting with operations pertaining to both practice and game day.Â
In addition to his duties with the Department of Athletics, Wosencroft serves as the Director of Property and Support Services for the University of Rhode Island. He oversees the operations of the Property Department, Central Receiving and Warehouse, Mail Services and Printing Services. Since 2019, he has also helped manage a $1.8 million budget as well as $128 million of movable capital assets within the URI system.Â
Wosencroft's resume also boasts experience with Belmont Market, which he managed for eight years, and an executive leadership stint with Foxwoods as well as the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.Â
His athletics expertise also comes from a research project he completed with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he studied the inner workings of the 2021 NBA Champions and researched the impacts on human capital. Wosencroft also has coaching experience, having assisted the 2017-18 Rhode Island College Basketball program.Â
A 1989 graduate of Assumption College, he completed his MBA at Rhode Island in 2022.Â
