• Played two seasons at Cerritos College, including one year with fellow Ram Justin Caines
• Was a 2015 SCFA All-Conference and All-Academic selection
• Led his team to the 2015 conference championship and a bowl game victory
• In two seasons for Cerritos, he had 84 tackles, 12 sacks, 22 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles
• Attended John Adams High School, where he played football and competed in track and field
• Was an All-City selection as a senior
• As a junior, earned All-City honorable mention and was his team's MIP
• Was a three-time All-Borough selection
• Finished his high school career with 203 tackles, 29 sacks and eight fumble recoveries in three seasons
