High School: Played football and wrestled at Nauset Regional High School... Was a three-year starter on both sides of the ball, playing guard on offense and tackle on defense... His head coach was Keith Kenyon, the former longtime North Kingstown High coach... His offensive coordinator and offensive line coach was former URI assistant coach Ray Ciarlegio... His defensive coordinator was former NFL coach Steve Sidwell, who coached with the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks... Was the first freshman in Nauset history to join the school's 1,000-pound club, lifting that much combined weight in the squat, bench press and deadlift.
