• Played each spot along the offensive line while spending a prep season at for Fork Union Military Academy in 2011
• Received All-State, All-District, All-Region, and All-Region honors in track and field
• Earned All-District and All-Metro team honors in football for Thomas Dale
• Helped Thomas Dale win a state championship during his junior season
• Set school records in the discus and shot put
