• An All-Bronx, All-City and All-Catholic High School selection as a senior
• An aggressive defensive back who played three years of varsity for Cardinal Hayes
• Helped his team win a Class AA City Championship
• During his career, he had 149 tackles, four interceptions, 17 pass break-ups and one forced fumble
