Daniel Anthony

The 2020-21 academic year marks Daniel Anthony's fifth with Rhode Island, working primarily with the men's basketball and golf teams.

A native of Kansas City, Mo., Anthony graduated from Missouri State University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Movement Science. He then pursued an entry-level master's degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where as a student, he worked with the men's basketball and football programs. Upon graduation from Texas Tech, Daniel accepted a Certified Intern position at the University of Missouri, where he worked with the softball program and assisted with football.  He moved on from Mizzou in 2015 to work as a Seasonal Assistant with the Golden State Warriors for the 2015-2016 NBA season.

Having a passion for continuing education, Anthony has certifications in FAKTR, and has participated in seminars for the Postural Restoration Institute. In addition, Anthony is a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainer's Society (NATA).
