Eric Youncofski was promoted to Director of Basketball Operations in September of 2017 after spending the previous two seasons on the staff as a graduate assistant and video coordinator for the team.

Youncofski oversees the day-to-day operations of the men's basketball program, including all travel arrangements. He serves as the staff liaison between the facilities and compliance offices and is in charge of the organization and and administration of all practice activities and video edits of all team practices and skill sessions. 

While in the role of graduate assistant, he was the team's liaison with the compliance and academic support areas, while also handling community service outreach efforts. He created scouting reports for all opponents while helping run the Dan Hurley Basketball Camp.

A member of the Rhode Island basketball team from 2012-15, Youncofski earned his degree in Public Relations in 2015, finishing the degree in three years. He also earned a minor in Leadership Studies. An Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient every year of his career, he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court in 2014-15.
