Jerrell Coleman

Entering his seventh season with the men's basketball program in 2019-20, Jerrell Coleman was promoted to Director of Player Development by Head Coach David Cox during the summer of 2018. Coleman served as the program's Assistant Director of Basketball Operations during the 2017-18 season.

Coleman spent four seasons as a team manager with the Rams, including serving as Head Manager/Special Assistant of Basketball Operations during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. He assists with player development and recruiting materials.

While at St. Patrick's, Coleman played for Kevin Boyle and was teammates with Deandre Bembry and Jared Nickens there. He also played with Malachi Richardson and Jameel Warney are Roselle Catholic, where he was a two-sport letterman in baseball and basketball. He is an alumnus of the Hoop Group Basketball as well as Bobby Hurley Sr.'s basketball camp, serving as both a former camper and counselor for both. 

A native of Elizabeth, N.J., Coleman earned his bachelor's degree in 2017. He currently is working toward his master's degree in Communication Studies.
