Tripp Doherty joined the men's basketball staff as a graduate assistant in September of 2017.

In his role, Doherty will oversee all aspects of basketball film production, breakdown and opponent film exchange. He is assisting with opponent scouting reportsand working with the Director of Operations to fulfill all aspects of day-to-day program needs. Doherty serves as the assistant director of the Dan Hurley Basketball Camp, works closely with the coaching staff to maintain recruiting visits, recruiting database and recruiting schedule while also executing on-court player skill and development plans.

Before coming to Rhode Island, Doherty spent the 2016-17 season as the video coordinator for the Harvard men's basketball program. He was promoted to that role after two seasons as an administrative volunteer with Harvard.

Doherty earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fairfield in 2014.
