- Carey’s 24 points were not enough in a 58-51, state semifinal loss to Dwight-Englewood
- In 2016-17, Carey’s junior year, Immaculate Conception finished 14-14
- Carey had 26 points and eight rebounds in the second game of the season, a 69-49 win at Newark Central
