KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) - Dawan Robinson hit a 3-pointer with 4.1 seconds left to lead Rhode Island to a come-from-behind 61-60 win over Seton Hall in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament on Wednesday night.

Seton Hall's J.R. Morris got off a 3-point attempt at the buzzer that was off the mark.

Robinson scored 15 of his team-high 17 points in the second half, as Rhode Island (20-10) worked to erase a 17-point Seton Hall lead. But he was nearly the goat in the game, as a technical foul called on him with 3:46 left in the game upped Seton Hall's lead to 60-52.

Andre Barrett hit the technical foul shots, which were the only points Seton Hall (17-13) scored in the final 6:54 of the game.

Seton Hall shot 63 percent from the floor in the first half led and led 37-23 at halftime. The Pirates' largest lead of the game was 42-25 after Kelly Whitney scored on a lay-up with 17:45 to play.

Barrett scored 17 to lead Seton Hall.
