OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) - Marques Green scored 35 points to lead St. Bonaventure to a 74-71 win over visiting Rhode Island Saturday.

Rhode Island's Dustin Hellenga missed a three-pointer at the final buzzer as the Bonnies (6-9, 2-2 Atlantic 10) won their second straight conference game.

St. Bonaventure ended the first half on a 17-3 run to take a 43-29 lead. Green hit eight 3-pointers in the run.

The Rams (12-6, 1-3) started the second half on a 14-0 run capped by a Hellenga 3-pointer.

The Bonnies only other double figure scorer was Patrick Lottin with 14.

Jamal Wise led Rhode Island with 17 points. Dawan Robinson added 16 points and Brian Woodward 15.

It was the third straight conference loss for the Rams.
