HARTFORD, Conn. Rhode Island junior outside hitter Inga Schlecht (Sundern, Germany) was voted to the All-Tournament team at the Hartford Invitational, Saturday (Sep. 3), after the Rams finished with a 2-1 record on the weekend.

After falling 3-1 (30-24, 26-30, 30-20, 30-21) to Central Connecticut on Friday, Rhode Island (3-3) defeated Hartford, 3-1 (30-26, 24-30, 30-15, 30-12) and St. Francis (N.Y.), 3-0 (30-18, 30-19, 30-27) on Saturday.

Schlecht totaled 15 kills and 13 digs in the Ram loss to Central Connecticut.

Junior Lindsay St. John compiled 17 kills and a .424 hitting percentage, while freshman Leslie Wiekamp added 17 digs in the win over Hartford.

Sophomore middle blocker Sara Phillips finished the weekend with nine kills and a .533 hitting percentage against St. Francis.
