PHILADELPHIA, PA.  Senior outside hitter Rachel Bello tallied 13 kills and was credited with 18 digs but it wasn't enough as the Rams were defeated by Temple, 3-0 (21-30, 23-30, 21-30), on Saturday afternoon.

Senior middle blocker Ivy Zuidhof was succesful on 10 of her 12 kill attempts to give her a hit percentage of .833. She also defended the net with three solo blocks. Junior middle blocker also contributed at the net with 8 kills and 1 solo block.

The Rams are now 1-1 in conference play and their next match will be Wednesday, October 4, at Providence College. Then the Rams come home to play two conference matches against Saint Louis and Duquesne this Friday and Saturday starting at 7:00 p.m. both nights.
