CHARLOTTE, N.C. Sophomore outside hitter Jillian Bekke put down 11 kills and senior middle blocker Ivy Zuidhof added 10 kills but it wasn't enough as Charlotte defeated the Rams last night, 3-0 (30-21, 30-18, 30-22).

Libero Leslie Wiekamp (10), setter Kaira Kachadurian (10), outside hitter Inga Schlecht (11) and outside hitter Rachel Bello (13) had double figures in digs on the night. Caitlyn Welsh contributed with seven kills, seven digs, and two solo blocks.

The Rams travel to George Washington University for Sunday's match at 2:00 p.m. The Colonials are 3-5 in Atlantic 10 play and have won their last two matches.
