KINGSTON, R.I.  Senior setter Lindsay St. John had 16 assists and six digs while classmate Rachel Bello recorded a team-high six kills as the Rams lose to Atlantic 10 leading Dayton, 3-0 (30-20, 30-12, 30-16).

Freshman middle blocker Caitlyn Welsh contributed with four kills, two service aces and one solo block. Senior middle blocker Ivy Zuidhof put down four kills and recorded a .500 hitting percentage.

The Rams will travel on the road next weekend to play Duquesne and Saint Louis, wrapping up their conference play. The next home match for Rhode Island will be Wednesday, November 8 versus Quinnipiac.
