PITTSBURGH, PA.  Senior outside hitter Rachel Bello recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 15 digs while classmate Lindsay St. John did the same with 36 assists and 10 digs but the Rams lost to the Dukes, 3-1 (30-27, 28-30, 30-23, 30-28).

Senior middle blocker Ivy Zuidhof led the Rams with 16 kills and freshman middle blocker Caitlyn Welsh put down 15 kills. Sophomore outside hitter Jillian Bekke was the fourth player with double-figures in kills having 10 of them to go along with five assisted blocks. Other Rams contributing were Leslie Wiekamp with 17 digs, Inga Schlecht with 10 digs and Kaira Kachadurian with 21 assists and seven digs.

After defeating Duquesne earlier this season, Rhode Island could not complete the season sweep of the Dukes with this loss. The Rams go to 2-9 in conference play and the Dukes move to 4-7. The Rams continue this weekend's road trip with their match at Saint Louis on Sunday, November 5.
