KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island senior outside hitter Inga Schlecht totaled 10 kills and seven digs but it was Towson taking down the Rams, 3-0 (30-19, 30-24, 30-24) in the first match of the Ram Classic in Keaney Gymnasium.

In the Ram's second match of the tournament, URI swept the first two games but couldn't finish off a stubborn Seton Hall squad, eventually falling in five games. Schlecht again led the way with 16 kills and 15 digs, while sophomore libero Leslie Wiekamp was credited with 19 digs.

Rhode Island finishes the tournament with a match against Boston College at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
