KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The University of Rhode Island softball team defeated Iona College 2-0 in non-conference action Monday afternoon at the Rebel Spring Games.

Sophomores Jackie Kampmeier and Leah DiBussolo each went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Rams.

Freshman Stacey Stanovich scattered four hits over seven innings to earn the win. She walked one and struck out four.
