ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Rhode Island men's cross country team placed 13th at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship, held at Forest Park in St. Louis, Mo.

The Rams compiled 381 points on the day. URI was led by Nate Wigton, who placed 68th overall. He covered the five-mile course in a time of 28:33.4. Justin Ellison was Rhode Island's second finisher, crossing the finish line in 78th place in a time of 28:48.6.

Kevin Healey was 98th overall, in a time of 29:10.8, while Michael Pezzullo was 110th in a time of 29:34.2. Nathan Ruchames rounded out the Rhody scorers, finishing 114th (29:41.1).

Corey Coogan (119th place, 29:49.7) rounded out the Rhody finishers. Saint Joseph's took the team title, with 56 points, while Dayton's Chris Lemon was the individual winner, in a time of 26:13.3.
