Setting the Scene
The Rhode Island women's cross country team ran to an 11th place finish at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship. The 5K race was hosted by Temple, and held at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa.

Top Performers
Senior Hayley Madsen was Rhode Island's top finisher, crossing the line in 18:55.9 and taking 39th place overall. Freshman Paige Ethier was just a second behind her, finishing 41st in a time of 18:56.9.
