CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Lily Saul placed 13th out of 126 runners to lead the Rhode Island contingent at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Championship Saturday morning.
With her finish, Saul became the 30th runner in Rhode Island program history to earn All-Atlantic 10 honors.
The Rams placed 10th as a team. Loyola Chicago won the team title for the fourth straight year with 51 points. George Washington placed second with 63 points. The rest of the top five included Saint Louis (108), Richmond (109) and La Salle (153).
George Mason's Ella Semple won the individual title with a time of 2:26.5, finishing more than 13 seconds ahead of the remainder of the field.
Saul finished in a time of 21:32.5. She was part of a group of runners in places 10-17 that all finished within a 10-second span of each other.
Freshmen
Keaney Bayha and
Jordan Hadfield were URI's second and third finishers. Bayha placed 46th overall in 22:21.4, while Hadfield was two spots behind her in 48th place. Hadfield posted a time of 22:22.9. Bayha and Hadfield were the sixth- and seventh-fastest freshmen in the field, respectively.
