KINGSTON, R.I. - For the second time this season, Rhode Island's Jordan Hadfield has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Hadfield ran a time of 18:42.93 on the 5K course at the New England ICAAA Championships in Hopkinton, N.H. Friday. She placed 43rd out of 281 runners to help the Rams finish sixth out of 25 teams.

Hadfield also was the A-10 Rookie of the Week on Sept. 8. She earned that honor after placing seventh out of 94 runners with a time of 18:51.40 at the 5K Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational.

Rhode Island is off until the Atlantic 10 Championship, which will be held Nov. 1 in Cedarville, Ohio.
