KINGSTON, R.I. - The Atlantic 10 Cross Country Preseason Poll was released Friday, and Rhode Island women's cross country was picked to finish ninth.
Heading into the season, the Rams are led by senior
Lily Saul and the sophomore duo of
Keaney Bayha and
Jordan Hadfield. Last season, Saul finished 13th out of 126 runners in at the A 10 championship, paving the way to all-league honors. Bayha and Hadfield placed 46th and 48th overall, respectively, at the league championship and were both chosen to the A 10's All-Rookie team.
Rhode Island opens its 2026 season at Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational at Bryant University on Saturday, Sept. 12. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
