Setting the Scene
The Rhode Island Men's Cross Country team raced in the Shriners Invitational Saturday morning. The 8k meet was held in North Dartmouth, MA where 293 runners competed. Rhody finished ninth out of 39 teams.
Top Performers
Sophomore Zachary Seites-Rundlett (North Kingstown, R.I.) was Rhode Island's top finisher posting a time of 26:04 good for 34th place. Senior Nikos Christ (Brooksville, Maine) and Samuel Weintraub (Moorsetown, N.J) were close behind finishing in 37th and 47th with times of 26:12 and 26:21 respectively.

The Rams next meet will be the Ted Owen Invitational on Sept. 22 starting at 11:00 a.m. The meet is hosted by Central Connecticut State University at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Conn.
