Highlights from the Track

• Mariah Claudio set a new school record in the 300 meters with a time of 40.01 seconds. Claudio broke her own record of 40.30 set at last years Alden (Brown) Inviational. 
• Jen Czerapowicz won the 500 meters in a final time of 1:20.54.
• Karleigh Manfredi won the pole vault with a New England qualifying mark of 3.45m (11'3 3/4).
• The 4x400 relay team of Keilan Nova, Dyshelle Pemberton, Mariah Claudio, Mikaila Amerantes placed first with a final time of 3:57.30.
• Chaslynn Saucier was 2nd in the 60 meters with a New England qualifying mark of 7.82 seconds.
• Karen Lobaton was 3rd in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.20 seconds, also a New England qualifying mark. 
• Janel Conley clinched spot in the New England qualifiers with a fourth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.57m (5'5 3/4"). She also posted a New England qualifying mark of 9.25 seconds in the 60 hurdle prelims. 
• Ashleigh Marks finished fourth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.21 seconds qualifying her for New Englands. 
• Briana Robitaille qualified for New Englands in the 60 meters with a mark of 7.90 seconds.

Rhode Island will return to the track this Friday, December 11 when it competes in the 21st annual URI Pentathlon. The meet is set for a 11am start in Mackal Fieldhouse.
