How it Happened
Rhode Island placed fourth out of five teams at Brown University's Rothenberg run Friday afternoon. The 8K race was held at Goddard State Park in Warwick. The team's average time for the 8k race was 26:12.77.

The Finish Line

• Junior Alec Font led the Rams finishing 10th overall out of 47 runners in a time of 25:35.25.
• Senior Adam Thies crossed the finish line four seconds later, placing 14th overall. Thies recorded a new personal best time of 25:38.64.
• Sophomore Nicholas Celico and freshman Noah Schrank were next for Rhode Island, finishing 24th and 25th overall, respectively. Celico finished in 26:21.01 with Shrank following in a time of 26:36.23.
• Freshmen Joseph Maguire (23:53.68) and Jake Cardello (26:54.04) finished in 29th and 30th, respectively, while senior Jacob Magiera (27:04.08) placed 33rd.
