How It Happened
The Rams' trademark toughness and efficient play on offense led them to a 75-66 win at #22 Dayton on Saturday.

Rhody never trailed in the ballgame, jumping out to an 11-0 lead early on.  Dayton did not tally its first field goal until the 15:19 mark.  Jared Terrell drained a 3-pointer as time expired in the half, giving URI a 38-25 lead at the break.  

The Rams kept their double-digit lead throughout much of the second half, building its largest lead of the contest - 19 points - as Jarvis Garrett drained a 3-pointer with 6:06, making it 65-46.

Dayton pulled to as close as seven (65-58) with 3:15 to play., but the Rams connected on 7-of-10 from the line down the stretch, battling through the Flyers last-ditch pressure efforts.

<>Jared Terrellached double-digits in the scoring column, led by Jared Terrell's game-high 18 points.  Terrell finished 6-of-8 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe, to go with three assists and two steals.
