KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Women's Track & Field team finished third out of 11 teams in today's URI Coaches' Tribute Meet. UMass Amherst, with a total score of 168.5 won the event. Brown (140), URI (117.5), UNH (79) and Stonehill (37) rounded out the top five.
Meet Highlights
- Briana Robitaille finished second in the 60m Dash with a time of 7.78s.
- Mariah Claudio took gold in the 400m Dash crossing the line in 56.57s.
- Dyshelle Pemberton won the 200 meters in 25.75s.
- Micaela McPadden finished fifth in the 500m Run in a total time of 1:22.09.
- Jennifer Czerapowicz (2:18.98) took home sixth place in the 800m Run.
- Nichole Barger finished the 1 mile run in 5:03.78 which was good enough for a fifth place finish.
- Janel Conley won the 60m Hurdles in 8.68s.
- Elaina Hobbs took fifth in the high jump with a jump of 1.61m and Tiffany Jenkins took home seventh place with jump of 1.56m.
- Karleigh Manfredi with a height of 3.60m was the best in the pole vault. Teammates Karlee Fowler and Amber Sekoll finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.
