WORCESTER, MASS. - URI senior Michelle Savoie and junior Hannah Madison competed today in day one of the Holy Cross Heptathlon. After the first four events, Savoie sits in third with a total score of 2682 points and Madison sits right behind her in fourth with 2584 points.
Bridgewater State's Samantha Richner leads the 10 person field with a score of 2770 points, she is followed by UMass Amherst's Bridget Deveau who sits second totaling 2736 points.
