How it Happened
The Rams finished 3rd of 5 teams at the 2017 Rothenberg Run, hosted by Brown University. Led by Shelby Aarden on the fast Goddard Park course, Rhode Island finished behind Connecticut and Vermont, and ahead of Brown and Btyant.

The Finish Line

• Junior Shelby Aarden finished 8th overall, running the 5k course in 17:39.
• Senior Courtney Hawkins finished the course in 17:56, taking 16th overall.
• Freshman Ashley Evans was just behind Hawking, taking 22nd with a time of 18:02.
• Junior Katie McNulty, senior Alyssa Brehler, and sophomore Camille Bertholon finished 31st, 32nd, and 34th, respectively, with times of 18:21, 18:22, and 18:29.
• Freshman Kelly Iocca took 44th overall, finishing with a time of 18:39.
• Junior Saige Grazia finished 53rd with a time of 19:03.

The Rams travel to Central Connecticut next Friday, Oct. 20 to run in the annual CCSU Short-Course Race. The 3k race is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
