How it Happened
Trailing 2-0 after #30 Arkansas (12-3) scored single runs in both the third and fifth innings, Rhode Island (5-8) came back and evened things up in the top of the ninth. Jordan Powell started the late rally by sending a one-out single to left centerfield before Martin Figueroa and Chris Hess reached on back-to-back errors. After a Matt O'Neil strikeout, Mike Corin singled through the left side to drive in both Hess and Figueroa and even the game at two apiece.
The Razorbacks ended the Rams' comeback bid in the bottom of the inning however, as Luke Bonfield singled through the left side to drive in Hunter Wilson for the walkoff win.
