How it Happened
Rhode Island (19-16, 8-4 A-10) found itself down big early as George Washington (20-19, 5-5 A-10) put a four spot on the board in both the second and third innings and added two more in the fifth to lead the Rams, 10-0.

Rhody used a two-out rally to cut it in half in the top of the sixth however. Matt O'Neil scored Rhody's first run of the game on a sac-fly by Mike Corin before Mike Foley was hit by a pitch and and Brett McManus singled. Kyle Beaulieu then sent an an RBI single up the middle to drive in Foley and Jordan Powell followed with a three-run shot down the left field line to make it a 10-5 game.

The Colonials eventually pushed their lead back to 10 though, scoring once in the sixth and once in the seventh before tacking on three more in the eighth for the 15-5 victory.
