How it Happened
Rhode Island rallied back from a two-run deficit, scoring four unanswered runs to claim the Sunday's series finale at Lamar.

After allowing single runs in the third and fifth innings, the Rams evened the score in the top of the sixth when Josh Brodeur drove in Austin White and Jackson Coutts singled to score Joe Fortin.

Rhody (1-2) pulled ahead an inning later on Tino Salgado's two-out RBI single that plated Austin White. Fortin then scored on a passed ball to make it 4-2 URI.

The Cardinals (2-1) threatened in the bottom of the seventh, loading the bases with one away before Rhode Island made the call for closer Tyler Brosius. Brosius quickly struck out the first hitter he faced for the second out of the inning. Lamar designated hitter Cole Coker then dropped a bases-loaded bunt back to the mound, which Brosius fielded cleanly and fired home to end the inning.

Brosius went on to strike out four of the final eight players the Cardinals sent to the plate to seal the 4-2 victory.
