How it Happened
Rhode Island jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half inning, it but was held scoreless the rest of the way in a 7-3 loss at La Salle Sunday afternoon.
The Rams (13-15-1, 2-2 Atlantic 10) got three runs and three doubles in their first turn at bat.

Joe Fortin doubled down the right field line to drive in both runners.
La Salle (15-11, 2-2 A-10) slowly chipped away, scoring single runs in the first, third, fifth and sixth innings to take a 4-3 lead. The Explorers then scored three times in the bottom of the eighth inning to put the game away.

Inside the Box Score
- Rhode Island continued to struggle in the field, committing two errors. Over the course of the four-game series, the Rams made eight errors.
- Freshman Addison Kopack had two singles and a walk in four trips to the plate. He also had a pair of stolen bases.
- Redshirt senior Joe Fortin reached base safely three times. He doubled, walked twice and drove in a pair of runs.
- Redshirt senior Sonny Ulliana hit a double for the third straight game. Of his 24 hits this season, 11 have been doubles.
