RHODE ISLAND (6-23, 2-14 Atlantic 10)
  • Rhode Island hits the road for its final matches of the season, Friday and Saturday at Dayton.
  • The Rams are 10-38 all time against the Flyers, and have lost each of the last 12 meetings between the two teams.
  • URI's last win over UD was a 3-2 victory during the 2013 season.
  • The Rams rank fourth in the conference in service aces per set (1.53), but are last in every other statistical category – points per set (13.35), hitting percentage (.136), kills per set (10.19), assists per set (9.42), blocks per set (1.63) and digs per set (12.45).
  • Individually, sophomore Hannah Blaney is fourth in the A-10 in total service aces (37) and seventh in digs per set (3.85).
  • Grad student Gabrielle Shilling has the team's best hitting percentage (.279) and leads URI in total blocks, with 90 (15 solos).
  • Junior Brynne Wright leads the Rams in total kills (257) and is second in both service aces (30) and digs (193).
  • Freshman Hope Passerello has been the team's starting setter in each of the last 12 matches. She is averaging 6.25 assists per set.
DAYTON (16-13, 10-6 Atlantic 10)
  • Dayton enters the ranked third in the Atlantic 10 with a 10-6 league record.
  • It is an unfamiliar spot for the Flyers, who have earned a first-round bye (top-2 teams) in the A-10 Championship in 15 of the last 16 seasons since the conference tournament expanded to six teams.
  • The only other time UD finished the regular season outside of the top-2 was in 2013.
  • The Flyers are 6-5 when playing on their home court this season.
  • Dayton leads the conference in total team blocks with 217.
  • UD ranks second in service aces (198), kills (1,431) and assists (1,295).
  • Individually, Lexie Almodovar leads the A-10 in both kills per set (3.97) and points per set (4.58).
  • Amelia Moore is third in the conference in hitting percentage (.337) and blocks per set (1.33). In total, she has 150 blocks.
  • Four different players – Anna Wuensch (322), Grace Dynda (233), Almodovar (211) and Karissa Kaminski (202) – have 200 or more digs for the Flyers.
  • Dynda leads the team with 41 service aces, which ranks second in the A-10.
