RHODE ISLAND (6-21, 2-12 Atlantic 10)
  • Rhode Island returns to Kingston for its final home games of the season.
  • Prior to the start of Saturday's match, URI will hold a brief ceremony to honor the six players competing in their final home game for the Rams – Claire Wagner, Abby Fillion, Gillian Klise, Mariah Paulette, Adel Gage and Gabrielle Shilling.
  • The Rams enter the match looking to bounce back after a 3-0 loss at Fordham Wednesday night.
  • Rhode Island is in 10th place in the Atlantic 10 with four regular season games remaining.
  • The Rams rank fourth in the conference in service aces per set (1.55), but are last in every other statistical category – points per set (13.45), hitting percentage (.141), kills per set (10.26), assists per set (9.49), blocks per set (1.65) and digs per set (12.60).
  • Individually, sophomore Hannah Blaney is fourth in the A-10 in total service aces (35) and seventh in digs per set (3.91).
  • Grad student Gabrielle Shilling has the league's ninth-best hitting percentage (.286) and leads URI in total blocks, with 84 (13 solos).
  • Junior Brynne Wright leads the Rams in total kills (241) and is second in both service aces (29) and digs (180).
  • Freshman Hope Passerello has been the team's starting setter in each of the last 10 matches. She is averaging 6.25 assists per set.
GEORGE WASHINGTON (14-13, 8-6 Atlantic 10)
  • George Washington enters the weekend in fourth place in the Atlantic 10
  • The Colonials have only lost two conference matches on the road this season, both at Dayton.
  • GW ranks third in the A-10 in bocks per set (2.35) and is fourth in points per set (15.50).
  • Individually, Tierra Porter is second in the conference in total block (138) and third in blocks per set (1.33).
  • Bella Bowman's 4.21 digs per set rank fifth in the league.
  • Offensively, Liv Womble is averaging 2.99 kills per set, which is seventh-best in the A-10.
  • Dilara Elmacioglu leads the team with 27 service aces.
