Rhode Island women's cross country team won the CCSU Ted Owen Invite Saturday with 47 team points.

Highlights from the Course

• Rhody was led by Sofia Piccone who finished second overall with a time of 18:04.
• The Rams had three straight finishes from Corina Vidal (18:41), Molly Sabia (18:44) and Madeline Till (18:45) who were ninth, 10th, and 11th respectively.
• Lindsay Turgeon was 16th in 18:57.
• Erin Hurley crossed the finish line in 19:15 for 22nd.
• Hanna O'Connor (19:25), Sophia Dimmuccio (19:25), Leyla Kvaternik (19:27) and Molly Long (19:27) finished right after the other for 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st.
• Daniella Napoli (19:37) and Brynne Wright (19:53) also finished within the top 50 for the Rams at 37th and 49th.
