KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island women's cross country team had a strong outing at the New England Cross Country Championship on Saturday afternoon, finishing third in the team standings.
Hanna O'Connor led the Rams with an eighth place finish, crossing the line in 18:43.9 to earn All-New England honors.
Daniella Napoli (19:07.8) and
Erin Hurley (19:14.0) rounded out the team's top three finishers.
Northeastern placed first as a team with a score of 34, followed by second-place Dartmouth (49). The Rams secured 119 points to finish third, besting fourth-place New Hampshire (132).
