KINGSTON, R.I. -- The Atlantic 10 has compiled an 18-game women's basketball conference schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season, adding to two contests to the previously utilized 16-game format and expanding the league slate to the largest in conference history. The A-10 released the team schedule pairings Thursday morning.
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date. There will be 135 conference games this upcoming season with any given program playing every league opponent at least once as well as four teams twice. The 2024 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship will be played March 6-10 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va., a first-time site for the league as well as third consecutive postseason at a neutral venue.
The Atlantic 10 had five teams compete in the postseason a year ago, with Saint Louis earning the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Rhode Island earned its second bid to the WNIT in as many seasons, joining Massachusetts, Fordham, and Saint Joseph's in postseason play.
