Rhode Island made a season-high 14 3-point baskets and scored 21 points at the free throw line while defeating Massachusetts 89-77 Saturday.
Jaden House and
David Green combined for 53 points as they led the Rams (9-7, 3-0 Atlantic 10) to their fourth consecutive victory.
In a high-intensity, whistle-filled game, URI led UMass (11-5, 2-2 Atlantic 10) from start to finish. There were no ties or lead changes.
