How it Happened
Rhode Island Baseball was scored on in all but one inning in its 11-0 loss to No. 4 Texas A&M on Friday night.
The Rams (2-8) struggled to get their offense going, finishing the series opener with just two hits from
Reece Moroney and
Rob Butler.
On the flip side, the Aggies (14-0) scored the bulk of their runs in the opening three innings to jump out to a 7-0 lead. From there, it was all one-run frames outside of a scoreless sixth. Freshman
Joe Sabbath accounted for the zero, working around a two-out walk with a backward K.
