A.J. Pena became Rhode Island's all-time leader in sacks and
Devin Farrell threw for four touchdowns as No. 15/16 Rhode Island (6-2, 4-0 CAA Football) steamrolled UAlbany 58-17 Saturday afternoon.
Rhode Island scored double digit points in the first, second and fourth quarters as it put up its highest point total in 43 years, dating back to a 58-55 win over Maine in 1982.
Rhody scored the first 10 points of the day, getting a 48-yard field goal from
Garth White and a 1-yard touchdown plunge by
Antwain Littleton, Jr. A 21-3 second quarter that featured touchdown catches of 32 and 42 yards by
Greg Gaines III gave URI a 28-point lead before halftime.
The Rams never let up, piling on 27 more points in the second half as it cruised to its fourth conference victory of the season.

- Linebacker Gabe Franco forced a fumble that was recovered and returned 47 yards by Leisaan Hibbert for a touchdown.
- Offensive lineman Christian Smith was the anchor bearer, while wide receiver Omari Walker served as the game captain.
