Rams Move Up a Spot in One FCS National Poll, Remain No. 13 in Another

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island moved up a spot in one FCS national poll and remained No. 13 in another after Saturday's 38-17 win over Bryant at Meade Stadium. The Rams are up No. 12 in the AFCA Coaches Poll, while their spot in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 stayed unchanged at No. 13.

The Rams received 340 points in the AFCA poll. That is 10 points behind No. 11 Villanova. Rhode Island and Villanova join No. 9 Monmouth as the only three CAA Football programs to appear in the poll.

In the Stats Perform Poll, Rhode Island secured 678 points which is four points behind No. 12 Harvard. The Crimson, who appeared at No. 14 last week in the poll, jumped the Rams after a 35-14 win at Princeton this weekend. No. 10 Monmouth and No. 11 Villanova are the other two CAA teams in this week's poll.

Rhode Island is on its bye week this Saturday. The Rams return to action on Saturday, Nov. 8 when they head on the road to Elon. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. and will air on FloCollege.com.
