RAMS CLINCH WINNING SEASON
- With its win over St. Bonaventure on Wednesday night, Rhode Island is eight games above .500 with six regular-season games and the Atlantic 10 Championship remaining.
- The Rams have secured a winning season for the first time since the 2019-20 season, snapping a string of four consecutive losing seasons.
- Since taking over, head coach Archie Miller has increased the team's win total each season.
- After going 9-22 in 2022-23, URI went 12-20 last season.
POSTSEASON PICTURE A LONG WAY FROM SETTLED
- Rhode Island entered the weekend tied with George Washington for 10th place in the Atlantic 10 standings.
- The Revolutionaries defeated URI head-to-head and would own the tiebreaker.
- Depending on Saturday's results around the league, Rhody could find itself as high as tied for seventh place in the standings.
- After Saturday, Rhode Island has five games remaining. Four of the five games are against teams currently ahead of URI in the standings (Saint Louis, Dayton, Massachusetts and Saint Joseph's), giving the Rams multiple opportunities to make up ground.
- The teams in third place through 11th place in the league standings are all within two games of each other.
