KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island freshman Katie Knarr was named to the 2025 Atlantic 10 Softball All-Rookie Team, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Named the A-10 Rookie of the Week in the final week of the regular season, Knarr led Rhode Island in batting average (.309), hits (47), RBI (27), putouts (246) and fielding percentage (.992). She started 46 of the 47 games she played.

The Long Beach, Calif. native was outstanding all season for the Rams. She finished the year with 47 hits, the second most in a season by any Rhody player over the last 13 years, trailing only the 56 hits Ari Castillo had in 2019.
