KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island sophomore Luke Stennett was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced.

It is the third time in his career Stennett has earned the recognition.

Stennett won the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, leading the Rams to the team title as well. He was 6-under par for the three-round tournament, topping the 80-player field for his second career individual title. He carded 10 birdies and two eagles over the course of 54 holes. After shooting a 3-under 69 in the first round, he fired a 5-under 67 in the second round.

Rhode Island is playing in the final round of the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate Tuesday. Stennett shot a 7-under par 64 on Monday and begins the day with a four-stroke lead over the field. As a team, Rhode Island begins Tuesday with a four-stroke lead over Iona as it looks to win the tournament for the second year in a row.
