HINTON LEADS ATLANTIC 10 IN 3-POINTERS
- Jonah Hinton made five 3-pointers Wednesday against La Salle, giving him 49 on the season.
- It was his fourth game this season with at least five 3-pointers made.
- He leads the Atlantic 10 in both total 3-pointers and 3-pointers per game (3.06).
- Hinton enters the weekend 24th in the country with his 49 3-pointers.Â
- Hinton is averaging a team-high 15.2 points per game, which ranks ninth in the conference.
- Hinton has scored in double digits 12 times, netting at least seven points in every game this year.
- Hinton has scored 20 or more points four times. Before this season, he did not have a 20-point game.
- Hinton made seven 3-pointers at Providence (Dec. 6) and against Temple (Nov. 26).
- He joined Tyson Wheeler and Jimmy Baron as the only Rhode Island players with multiple games with seven or more 3-pointers. Baron did it three times.
HARPER FINDING HIS RANGE
- After attempting just one 3-point shot in his first six career appearances, freshman Jalen Harper is 5-for-9 from the arc in his last four games.
- The Philadelphia native has made at least one 3-pointer in each of the last four contests.
- His best game was a 10-points, five-rebound showing in 30 minutes off the bench against Northeastern on Dec. 22.
