KINGSTON, R.I. -- Rhode Island men's track and field earned a pair of Atlantic 10 weekly honors after
Matt Santy was named the Field Performer of the Week and
Miles Lipka collected his first career Rookie of the Week nod.
Santy was named the A-10 Field Performer of the Week after winning two IC4A individual crowns this past weekend. He claimed the high jump title with a mark of 2.16m and the long jump gold with a record breaking leap of 7.56m.Â
Lipka, competing in his first career IC4A, won the heptathlon with 5235 points. The mark sits third best in the conference.
 The Rams are back in action Friday at the BU Track & Tennis Center for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.Â
