KINGSTON, R.I. — Rhode Island earned a pair of Atlantic 10 weekly awards for the second time in as many weeks, claiming the Field Performer of the Week and Rookie of The Week, it was announced Tuesday by the league. Joachim Ennoo was named the Field Performer for the second week in a row, while Lucas Andrade picked up his first Rookie of the Week honor.
At the BU Scarlet & White Invitational, Ennoo led the Rams with a second-place finish in the triple jump, jumping 15.61m (51'2.75"). His mark ranks 30th in the NCAA. Andrade won the 60m hurdles in 7.93 seconds, a time that sits atop of the Atlantic 10.
The Rams are back in action Saturday for the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
